After shearing, the fleece is scoured in Geelong, with its exceptional quality meaning no carbonisation is required—preserving fibre strength while reducing environmental impact. The wool is then milled in Tasmania at Waverley Mills in Launceston, Australia’s last fully vertical woollen mill. At Waverley it is carded, spun, dyed and woven on-site, ensuring complete traceability and a truly craft-driven process from farm to finished blanket.
